Will Best is a popular TV and radio presenter, best known for being a presenter on Hits Radio and fronting ITV's rebooted series of Big Brother.

Is he going on Strictly?

He sure is! Will was announced as a contestant on the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing on Tuesday 15th July! He said: "I can’t quite believe it…I’m doing Strictly! What an absolute dream. Albeit a pretty terrifying one.

"I’ve been lucky to do lots of live telly before, but absolutely nothing like this. And I cannot wait! I have no idea if I can actually dance, but bring on the sequins, bring on the quicksteps, bring on the dance floor! I’m going to try to enjoy every minute of it."

Will joins the likes of Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer and Cach Mercer.

What’s your predictions for Strictly? Can you win the show?

Will said: "Well, anything's possible! Except that. I can't dance. So I would say no, I can't win the show. But I can have a jolly good time trying!"

Other than Strictly, would you consider any other reality shows?

"Well Fleur absolutely LOVED doing the jungle, so based on how much she raves about it, I'd like to give I'm A Celeb a go. The only slight problem is my extreme arachnophobia. But there aren't any spiders there, right?"

How old is he?

Will was born on 21st February 1985. making him 41-years-old.

Where is he from?

Will was actually born in Wandsworth, London, but he was raised in Tadcaster near Leeds.

When did Will Best join Hits Radio?

Will's first show on Hits Radio Breakfast took place on 28th April 2025.

However, Will was already a huge part of the Hits Radio family having covered for Sam Thompson whilst he was on I’m a Celebrity...Unpacked!, and he was also the host of an exclusive Off the Record session for the station with David Guetta in the summer of 2024.

In November 2025, Will joined Fleur and James on stage at our Hits Radio Live events in Birmingham and Manchester as they hosted the gigs full of acts such as Calvin Harris, JADE, Olly Murs and Ella Henderson.

What is Will's favourite thing about his show?

He said: "At the risk of sounding super cheesy, it's getting to hang out with Fleur and James every morning! We genuinely have such a laugh together, and hopefully us enjoying each others company helps the listeners enjoy our company too! Unbelievably, we even hang out OUTSIDE OF WORK. I know. Crazy."

What single moment stands out for Will at Hits Radio?

Will gushed: "It's got to be Taylor Swift coming in. The buzz around the building was crazy, and she was so lovely! She brought us gifts and everything. Didn't invite us to her wedding though, so actually in hindsight maybe we should be deeply offended."

If he could co-host with one celebrity in the world (other than Fleur and James) who would it be?

He admitted: "Danny Dyer! He was my specialist subject on mastermind, and I blooming love him. The amount of swearing might be a problem, but he's loveable, charming, and very funny. Perfect for breakfast radio!"

That will be Ja Rule and Ashanti's 'Always On Time'. Will said: "I love noughties R&B, and it always takes me back to my misspent youth!"

Which song is the perfect way to start his day?

Will said: "Weirdly, I wake up every single day with a different song from our playlist in my head. Last week it was alternating between Taylor Swift's 'Fate of Ophelia' and Zara Larsson's 'Midnight Sun', but this morning it was Oliva Dean's 'Man I Need'. Which I think is the perfect early morning song."

If Will could be eternally stuck in one music era, which would it be? And why?

He said: "I'd say the early noughties! The best hip hop, the best R&B, and...garage!! What's not to love!"

Does he host Big Brother?

He sure does! Will has hosted popular entertainment show Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu since ITV made the decision to revive the show in 2023.

As well as the main show, Will and AJ also present spin-off series Big Brother: Late & Live, as well as the celebrity edition of the show.

Although Celebrity Big Brother is being rested by bosses, the 2026 series of Big Brother will return at 9pm on Sunday 13th September 2026.

What other TV shows has he been on?

Will first made his presenting debut on TV way back in 2010, hosting a comedy music show called Such My Pop on Viva. Over the years, Will has presented shows like Love Shaft, Dance Dance Dance and CBBC series Airmageddon. as well as fronting a hard-hitting BBC documentary called Is This Rape?: Sex on Trial.

Will also appeared as a contestant on hit Channel 4 series Celebrity Coach Trip back in 2022, as well as fronting a hard-hitting BBC documentary called Is This Rape?: Sex on Trial.

Will said: "Well seeing as people often mistake me for both Ben Shepherd and Joel Dommett, probably one of them? Although my fiancé does often claim I look like Matt Damon, and he's literally won an Oscar, so..."

He said: "I love a good dance! And I love a good meal with friends. So I reckon a lovely dinner somewhere with my nearest and dearest, before we all head out to throw some shapes somewhere fun."
